Drawing on more than 25 years of experience mainly in the financial sector, Atlanta resident Linda Jordan leads The Jordan Group as the president and principal. A business development firm, The Jordan Group helps clients market their investment management products to institutional investors. Possessing an educational background in engineering, Linda Jordan applies that knowledge to work with firms specializing in fields such as manufacturing, transportation, health care, and technology.
Ms. Jordan holds multiple degrees, including a bachelor of science and a master of science in electrical engineering, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She was honored in 2006 as the first African American woman inducted into the Georgia Tech Engineering Alumni Hall of Fame. In addition to her degrees from Georgia Tech, Ms. Jordan also holds an MBA in finance from Duke University and a BS in mathematics from Clark Atlanta University.
An active member of her community, Linda Jordan lends her expertise to multiple local organizations. She is a board member of the Fulton County Library, a member of the Fulton DeKalb Hospital Authority Pension Committee, and a member of the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Theta Sigma Sorority. Outside of her community and professional interests, Ms. Jordan also enjoys playing golf and serves as the membership chair of the Atlanta Chapter of the LPGA Amateurs Association.
